Scatter Joy Spotlights
Lucas Meyers
As reported in the Sacramento Bee on Monday, May 24, 2009 by Sarah Frier: "Needles don't faze 16 year-old Lucas Myers. He's been donating blood and plasma since last fall, and now he's four pints short of 10 gallons - a notable achievement, considering it takes most adults 13 years to reach that volume of giving.
Katie West
Katie West has a strength and a joy that amaze me. She works with people to bring more levity, laughter and play into people's lives. She is a life coach and also leads laughter yoga sessions. It has been inspiring to watch both as she helps other people to change but also how leading laughter yoga has changed her.
Zach Bonner
Zach Bonner, age 11, is a philanthropist on a mission to help homeless children. Zach, who founded the Little Red Wagon Foundation in 2005 to help homeless and underprivileged children started a 668 mile hike from Atlanta to Washington D.C.
